Yes, my 3/110 is swapping over nfs, the server being an ss1 running 
sunos 4.1.4.

The fpu_emulate messages are infrequent, appearing perhaps one in six
boots.  They precipitate a complete crash of the system.

I've had other booting problems as well, much like others have noticed.
Getty (and various programs started in the rc files) will (very) often
dump core during a boot.
