Because the PROM doesn't pass the IP address to the boot program, I should
think. I always got stuck at this point, however, and a packet analyser
revealed that I wasn't getting any packets out of the machine at all after
the tftp load finished.
Do you have the latest version of the netboot program? I heard that there
was a new one; perhaps it fixes this problem.
