X11R6 has already been compiled and is available from:
  ftp.netbsd.org: /ftp/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-1.1/sun3/x11r6

If you want to rebuild it, the config files and all changes
I made to build it are in the "comp" tarball.  (My changes,
as submitted to the X consortium, are under misc_sun3).

Note: all of the above tarballs were made relative to /usr/X11R6
so you should unpack them in there, not in the root.
(Or unpack them anywhere and make a link.)
