Agh, I nevery really paid attention to this before....

The silliness with c and d partitions applies to the i386 port only (I 
think)..  In anycase, there, RAW_PART (whole disk; access doesn't go 
through the normal partition translation) is `d', and `c' applies to the 
"entire NetBSD portion of the disk".

However, on the sun3, sparc, hp300, ..., `c' is the "whole disk" and `d' 
is just a normal partition, as Mouse implies :-)
