Of course, the assignment of areas to e, f, g, and h is purely taste.
And this is presumably also for a one-disk system....

But what's this about d?  On my NetBSD/sun3 Sun-3/150, I have /tmp on
sd0d, and nothing seems to care.  I never heard about this "NetBSD
portion of disk" stuff on anything except i386 and amiga stuff that
ended up on current-users (sometimes by mistake).
