Sounds likely. The problem is we just don't know which OF versions have
these bugs.

First thing to try is to use the latest netbsd-9 installer from
the daily builds, https://nycdn.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD-daily/netbsd-9/latest/
and see if that works better.

If it doesn't, I can try to reproduce and fix it, but I need a lot more
details. Please contact me off list if you are able to re-test and provide
them (screenshots, or photos from the steps, plus exact details what you
entered).
