first i've installed debian 7.8 on sparc64 - but the resulting
installation was just too slow
(building cmake tooked 10h) Aurelien Jarno (qemu developer) told me that
pure 64bit should be
much faster (due to not needed 32/64bit translation) and showed numbers
that prooved it - but
he is using some unstable port of debian and i want to give NetBSD a try
- currently compiling
perl and its compareable slow like debian - could it be that the NetBSD
6.1.5 SPARC64 gcc is 32bit?
