Thank you for all your answers, but it looks like i'm going to go for a Sun Microsystems Ultra 24 Workstation (x86) for around 125$ with 8 GB Memory, 240 GB + 1 TB Hard Drive Capacity, Solaris 11.1, Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.00 GHz. Are there any other brands making quality UNIX workstations (except SGI, Dell, HP, Sun/Oracle, IBM)?
