And like I said, "cvs up -dAP -r netbsd-5-1" proceeds just fine, but "cvs up -dAP -r netbsd-5" dies for me. Am I doing that wrong? Matthew, how did you check out the sources?these are the commands in my shell history: 368 13:30 cvs -z3 -d cvs.netbsd.org:/cvsroot co -P -r netbsd-5 src 369 13:44 cd src 371 14:45 ( unsetenv MAKEOBJDIRPREFIX ; nice +5 ./build.sh -j3 -m sparc64 -U -u -V MKX11=no distribution release iso-image ) i'll try again and also make sure my $MAKECONF is empty.hmm, this worked again for me. what platform are you building on? i am using amd64.
Sadly I'm using i386. I'm in the middle of doing checkouts by date to see if I can narrow things down. 2011-01-06 04:00:00 gives me a different error so far and 06:00 gives me the regular error. -- Hisashi T Fujinaka - htodd%twofifty.com@localhost BSEE(6/86) + BSChem(3/95) + BAEnglish(8/95) + MSCS(8/03) + $2.50 = latte
