re: netbsd-5 not compiling

Matthew, how did you check out the sources?

these are the commands in my shell history:

   368  13:30   cvs -z3 -d cvs.netbsd.org:/cvsroot co -P -r netbsd-5 src
   369  13:44   cd src
   371  14:45   ( unsetenv MAKEOBJDIRPREFIX ; nice +5 ./build.sh -j3 -m sparc64 
-U -u -V MKX11=no distribution release iso-image )

i'll try again and also make sure my $MAKECONF is empty.

hmm, this worked again for me.

what platform are you building on?  i am using amd64.

Sadly I'm using i386. I'm in the middle of doing checkouts by date to
see if I can narrow things down. 2011-01-06 04:00:00 gives me a
different error so far and 06:00 gives me the regular error.
