in making USIII support work, i found a bunch of old bugs that were
hard to trigger with the slower cpus.  one of them was easy to
trigger -- failure of NFS writes in SMP.  i had these generic bug
fixes pulled up to netbsd-5 branch, it was applied there almost
10 months ago.

so yeah US-II support, in particular SMP support, has been fixed
up some what in the last couple of years.  people who had seen
problems in the past should definately try again.  right now i
am unable to make my U60 or SB2000 fail, online the US-IIIi PCI
reset problem that is not yet fixed.
