  Hmm.  Okay, since Dave ran 4.0.1 on an X1, has anyone run anything  
more recent than 4.0.1? Perhaps this is an uncaught regression in all  
the changes up to netbsd-5?

  IF there's anything I can do to help debug this, I'm more than  
willing.  Suggestions welcome, if not needed.  ;-)  When I break  
doesn't work, I'm at a loss for things to try.
