major/minor numbers for puc? adapters on sparc64

Ok, I got a little silly, and installed a pair of puc(4) PCI
cards in a PCI sparc64 machine.

The kernel very merrily recognizes them and attaches them.

But, now, I'm at a loss on who to actaully access the critters.
All the device nodes in MAKEDEV are for the built in/Sun provide
serial adapters.

I went groveling through the kernel sources trying to figure out
what major number I should be using, but I didn't find/recognize
the information.

Can anyone provide the needed info?

Thanks!

fyi: I've attached the dmesg from the system with the puc(4)'s
in it.. yes, it's a rather old -current kernel, but it's been
running and doing its job, so I haven't touched it in a while.
