Hello,

the Raptor now works as console ( in both 8 and 32bit but it lacks
firmware support for accessing palette registers so colours in 8bit
look funny ) with genfb, the only problem was a firmware bug, it
reports linebytes == width even in 32bit colour. It also works in
XFree86 with the glint driver ( had to fix a minor bug - it mmap()ed
too much PCI space ), support to build it as part of xbase.tgz will
be committed as soon as my test build finishes.
Writing an accelerated console driver should be easy, I've been
dealing with the GLint's blitter when writing the ag10e driver, the
Raptor is basically a Sun-badged Permedia2 which in turn is a low end
GLint with VGA support.

have fun
Michael
