With this update, the machine does boot fully into multi-user and it can
stay alive while not doing too much.

But when doing e.g. a sh build.sh, it almost immediately dies again in the
same way, i.e. SIR Reset/Watchdog Reset.

I have now booted my 4.99.9 kernel and will build by kernel with DEBUG
and DIAGNOSTIC. If this reveals anything new, I'll report it...
