there may be some hardware issue (these adapters are designed for x86, and
some of them don't have all the address lines wired, for example),
but the main problem is the lack of documentation. On x86 the adapter's BIOS
does some initialisations that are not done on non-x86 hardware, and
the infos to do the same setup in the driver are lacking.
