Keep in mind that the U5 / U10 on board IDE is _slow_. As Michael
pointed out threads can be a problem. You may be able to work around
this by running a 32 bit SPARC user land with a 32 bit UltraSPARC
kernel. I still run 2.0 on my U5 / U10 and they Just Work (C) (R) (TM).
I expect that 3.0 will do as well, but I didn't have time and a need to
upgrade. So I am still at 2.0.
