On the U10 I have at work - I didn't see any thread related bug since 3.0_B=
ETA.
The only sad news is with firefox that is really unstable.
I remember running XFCE, xmms, rox, samba qui nicely (on a external U160 SC=
SI card though :)

I think I was answered you can run Solaris binaries on netbsd/sparc64.
Maybe I'd try firefox/solaris.

another important points (for me) are :
- not a big machine (because my appartement is small)
- quite silent (same point as above :)

On machine like U5 or Blade 100/150, I can install "silent PC PSU", replace=
 the CPU fan and new
silent IDE disk than makes them really silent.
