Actually, you need to power-cycle the machine in order to get
better memory diagnostics:

  setenv diag-level max
  setenv diag-switch? true
  <power off>
  <wait 10-15 sec>
  <power on>

Also, you should watch on the serial console if possible, as most
of the "low level diag" messages only appear there.
