Hello,

Under NetBSD:
machfb0 at pci1 dev 2 function 0: ATI Technologies 3D Rage Pro (rev.
0x5c)
machfb0: 16 MB aperture at 0xe1000000, 4 KB registers at 0xe2000000
machfb0: 4096 KB SGRAM 98.924 MHz, maximum RAMDAC clock 230 MHz

Without NetBSD:
Use the PROM console. The device path for the onboard Rage Pro is
/pci@1f,0/pci@1,1/SUNW,m64B@2
There should be a property indicating VRAM size, I'm not sure if the
Rage II uses a different device name.

Under Solaris - check if you can switch to a resolution / colour depth
that needs more than 2MB VRAM ( using m64config or so ), if you can you
almost certainly have a Rage Pro, if you can't it's a Rage II. ( I don't
think there are any U5/U10 mainboards with a Rage II and 4MB VRAM but
I'm not 100% sure )

have fun
Michael
