"What's the problem?"

That wasn't given at all, so maybe start at what you do and what happens.
dmesg output may help.

If things go worse, have a look at the "umass woe: sd0(umass0:0:0): 
readonly device & drive offline" thread starting Nov 14 on tech-kern@ for 
a lot of ideas.
