It has the same tendency to deadlock on macppc, although it's not quite
as crash-prone ( yeah, it worked almost 10 minutes before crashing )

The problems seem to be mainly in Nautilus and the panel, not as much in
the gnome libraries - bluefish for instance is fairly stable here.
