Martin and Rick,

Thanks for the suggestions.  Since I am attempting to move from 2.0.2
to 2.1 I will follow your advice Martin and do things in a different
order than is found in "Updating an existing system" in the NetBSD
Guide.  I'll write again if I encounter any more problems.
