i still wonder if that game could be automated.  Take all devices
capable of sharing interrupts, and attach them to all interrupts at
boot time.  When a device claims an interrupt of the same level a few
times in a row, remove all its other associations.  

I guess if PCI bridges have to be programmed to ``route'' interrupts
it's not enough---I don't understand how that works yet.
