Hi, I've been reading various articles about how gcc produces much slower
executables for sparc, compared to Sun's compilers. Does anyone think it might
be a good idea to build the kernel and the base system for sparc64 port with
Sun's compilers?

I mean, SunStudio is now free for OpenSolaris, is it possible to adapt the
build for cross-building the kernel and base system on Solaris, using Sun's
compilers?
