Yes, something like that. Too long ago for me to remember detains
though, and it wasn't me who dealt with it ;)

that's my U10:
cpu0 at mainbus0: SUNW,UltraSPARC-IIi @ 440 MHz, version 0 FPU

as far as I know the U5 and the U10 use the same mainboard?

And NetBSD? Someone reported trouble with a quad hme a while ago, it's a
bit similar to your card, only it has 4 hmes behind the bridge.

That's normal, the MAC address comes from the firmware on your
mainboard ( the last couple of numbers should be identical you your
host ID ). There's an option somewhere to make them use their local MAC
addresses though.

No, it's right, and no it shouldn't cause any SCSI troubles. I'm only
asking because of troubles others had.
