I'll try 3.0_BETA tomorrow since I'm using 2.0.2. I found the problem
also occurs with an hme card.

    jh> Are you forwarding a constant 3M/s?

At worst it may be constant 3Mbit/s for a span of an hour or so,
forwarding, so 3Mbit/s in and another 3Mbit/s out. It's gre-tunneling
traffic over my T1 so that I can filter and shape it first (it isn't
actually doing any shaping yet, but that's the idea). Pretty much all
the traffic is forwarded, not local. IPv4 and IPv6.

When the traffic volume was much less, it did not lock up except ~once
in a month.
