Well if I run 'mc' in xterm, Up/Down and Page Up/Down keys work as
expected.

I did a few tests on sparc64 and i386 machines (running X11 clients
remotely, etc) and it seems only GTK applications that execute on
sparc64 have this problem. May be it's 64-bit issue, I'm gonna get
32-bit userland up and running on the second hard disk and see if the
problem persists.
