I would suggest using the procedure to reset the NVRAM in the squirrel.com
guide. www.squirrel.com/squirrel/sun-nvram-hostid.faq.html . When I have
gotten Sun machines with security-mode enabled in OpenBoot, I remove the 
NVRAM/IDPROM chip and boot the machine. While the machine is at the OK 
prompt, put the chip back in and run through the process in the FAQ to
set up the hostid and MAC address. 
You have to deal with the setting up any nvramrc or device settings, but as
long as you have a tty or standard Sun monitor and keyboard, it is much of
a hassle.
