NetBSD/sparc64 can run Solaris 32- and 64bit binaries - to some extent. I i=
nstalled a Solaris 9 userland on my U10 ( just put them into /emul/svr4_32 =
and add options COMPAT_SVR4, COMPAT_SVR4_32, EXEC_ELF32 to your kernel conf=
ig ) mainly to run Opera but the results were mixed at best. It certainly r=
uns, but it doesn't work. The UI looks very funny, as if half the X11 proto=
col stream got lost on the way ( all the pixmaps were screwed up but text l=
ooked fine for instance so I guess shared memory doesn't work ), xterm work=
s, telnet works, ftp doesn't work - I didn't test much more.=20
So, some things work, lots don't, your mileage may vary. Greatly. I doubt O=
penOffice will run in any meaningful way, so it's either koffice or abiword=
 and friends.
