I don't plan to run KDE3 on it, I was just using the KDE3 build as an
example of a large workload I don't plan to throw at it :-) (the box runs
headless, after all)

Yeah - that's one of the main reasons I keep the box online, so I can test
my code to make sure that what builds and works on LSB ILP32 also builds and
works on MSB LP64. I've had some code I wrote build and appear to work, only
to discover later on that (for example) it's doing really weird things to a
string used for processing internal data, etc.
