Mostly went well.

A few minor oddities.

boot -a on my system causes it to hang (or at least no keyboard input) 
when it prompts for the root filesystem.  This is on an Ultra 30 with 
Creator 3D UPA card and a Type 5 keyboard.  No problems with boot -a 
over serial console.

Using the sparc64 miniroot to install a sparc (32 bit) distribution set 
never gives me the option to install the sun4u kernel.

Looks pretty good to me otherwise.
