When all is said and done, the U5 which is www.rmkhome.com and ftp.rmkhome.com
has now been up:

tencats# uptime
 6:16PM up 81 days, 21 hrs, 3 users, load averages: 0.10, 0.09, 0.08

tencats# uname -a
NetBSD tencats 2.0_BETA NetBSD 2.0_BETA (TENCATS) #4: Wed Jul 28 18:59:40 MDT 2004 rmk@sidewinder:/usr/src/sys/arch/sparc64/compile/TENCATS sparc64

This latest kernel has the sleep-sleeps-forever patch. When the box was running
1.6.2, it's longest uptime was about 80 days.

I'm using a Symbios Logic 53c875, rather than the Sun slow IDE controller.

I'd like to have a similar U5 with working X that I could use as my main
display system. (fvwm and a lot of xterm windows)
