Hello!

First of all, sorry if this posting appears twice. I already mailed this
questions some hours ago via gmane but I don't see it on the list, so I
write again. Maybe it got lost somewhere?!

I just installed NetBSD 2.0-RC1 from
http://netbsd.student.utwente.nl/NetBSD-2.0_RC1-iso/ on a Sun Ultra10
300 MHz, 1GB RAM, Samsung 80 GB IDE-HDD, LG GSA 4081B, 3Com 3c905-C and
Intel 100Pro/S NICs, Symbios Logic SCSI-Controller.

On _every_ startup, _all_ partitions are checked and there are also
sometimes errors reported. I tried to umount some partitions before
shutting down in order to see if the problem still existed. These
partitions I unmounted before shutting down needn't to be checked when
starting up - they were clean.

So I guess there is a problem concerning a proper umount of all
partitions. Is there any known bug? Or might there be some
misconfiguration on my system?

I shut down the system via "shutdown -p now" or by pressing the power
button (powerd is enabled) which also should envoke "shutdown -p now".

On NetBSD 1.6.2 this problem did not occur, and on NetBSD 2.0-RC1 on
i386 it doesn't occur either.

Can anybody give me a hint what goes wrong?

Many thanks in advance,

Michael
