   Workaround which I found is to compile sys/uvm/uvm_bio.c with -O0
   or gcc-2.95.3.
   
   It seems uvm_bio.o compiled with gcc3 -O2 has been broken (only 32-bit).


thanks... using -O0 i have a working updated system... did anyone look
further into this yet?  i would but i have little time right now...
