After more testing I found a pattern:
	* boot from net, hard drive attaches
	* boot from cd, hard drive does not attach
	* tried both with DELAY values 20, 2000, 4000, and 20000

I would like to see this resolved and boot off the CD.
Do you have an idea of what to try next?
