I have two Ultra 5's with internal IDE drives and several towers of
external SCSI disks. I've been trying to install 1.6.1 on them.

... and it fails in the same spot (installing man pages) every time!

I've swaped RAM, I've tried installing root on wd0 and sd0, I've even
switched machines.

I've exausted my ideas. The xterm always stops with the following:

Alignment error: pid=15 comm=sysinst dsfsr=00000000:00800001 dsfar=fffffe61:72792f73 isfsr=00000000:00000000 pc=221b4cparc64/binary/sets/man.tgz
pid 15 (sysinst), uid 0: exited on signal 10 (core not dumped, err = 14)
Bus error-----------------------------------------------------------------------
