you can put a second disk in a U5 system but it "wants" a special
bracket you get from sun when you buy a 2nd disk for a u5/u10 system.
i have no experience in _not_ using this backet.  also, it replaces
the floppy drive ....

actually, i've run several different IDE disk in the 2nd disk in my
U5 - 9G & 15G seagates, 40G ibm, and something else i can't remember.
it's not as if the pciide runs worse on non-sun disk.  infact, i
do believe that my U5 ran faster with the 40G ibm disk ... but that
disk was destined to be used for mp3 spool :)
