Hi,
I tried 1.6 on a Ultra/1. As I already have 1.5 installed I tried the
miniroot way. I booted single user (to make sure swap wasn't used)
and did:
dd if=miniroot.fs of=/dev/rsd1b bs=64k
halt
Then:
ok boot disk1:b
Resetting ...
Sun Ultra 1 SBus (UltraSPARC 143MHz), No Keyboard
OpenBoot 3.11, 128 MB memory installed, Serial #8793333.
Ethernet address 8:0:20:86:2c:f5, Host ID: 80862cf5.
Rebooting with command: boot disk1:b
Boot device: /sbus/espdma@e,8400000/esp@e,8800000/sd@1,0:b File and args:
NetBSD IEEE 1275 Bootblock
.
and it hangs there.
Has anyone sucessfully used the 1.6 miniroot ?
