Hi there!

I think my problem is to do with NFS, but i'm sure it's probably elsewhere, too. :)

the FreeBSD server is: ragnarok / 10.233.40.232
the NetBSD ultra10 is: imp	/ 10.233.40.236

The binary extracts are in:

/export/root/{bin, etc, netbsd, usr, lib}	(etc etc ...)

/tftpboot is working fine, as it grabs ofwboot.net when I 'boot net netbsd'
but the I get to the following error:

No response for RARP request
bootp: no reply

(and then it tries find all the netbsd.* kernels which it cannot.)

FreeBSD side, I have:

bootparamd -d

/etc/bootparams:

imp root=imp:/export/root swap=imp:/export/swap

rarpd -a

mountd -2dlnr (the logging shows that the export is loaded ok)

nfsd -h 10.233.40.232 -n 4

/etc/exports:

/export -alldirs -maproot=root imp

Could you shed some light on this for me please?

many thanks!
