It seems that sometimes it finds the nfs root, others times not.

Here's what happened when it did work

root on sphinx:/grant/NetBSD-sparc64
root time: 0x3ab7ea67                                   
root file system type: nfs
init: copying out flags `-s' 3
init: copying out path `/sbin/init' 11
Enter pathname of shell or RETURN for sh: 

and then nothing.
