The 1.5/sparc64 is known to have problems. Get one of the snapshots at
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/arch/sparc64/toolchain.

(The sources for this are somewhere in src/gnu/dist/toolchain or so, they
are not integrated in the usual NetBSD framework yet, AFAIK)
