Not much happening in this mail list?

I downloaded the tar files from the 1.5 directory.

I thought I would give the X server a try.
But I cant even get gdb to work properly.
On the previous snapshots I was not able to get a
back trace of the stack.

but now it can't even find any runtime symbols from
shared libraries, at least it says so.

Has I done anything wrong or is gdb a hi priority fix?

maybe my upgrade procedures is wrong, I just copied the
new kernel to /. And detar'ed all the tar files and rebooted.
