I'm trying to boot an Ultra 5 so I can try this NetBSD port on and I'm
running into a problem. I have an OpenBSD rarp server that seems to be
working. However, before I even get to that point, if I Stop-A and 'boot
net' this Ultra 5 decides that it already has a hostname that it wants to
use.
---- snip ----
ok boot net
Boot device /pci@1f,0/pci@1,1network@1,1 File and args:
2ec00 hostname: flaming
domainname: sun.nis
RPC: Timed out.
---- clip ----
Where is 'flaming' stored? It's the hostname of the previous Solaris 2.7
install. I've booted back into is and changed the hostname and the IP
address do something else and then tried to net boot again but it still
comes up with 'flaming.'
Any ideas how I can get this Ultra 5 to rarp for an IP?
Thanks.
