If you are willing to ship in EU, which isn't usually an additional burden, at least regarding taxes, eBay could give you more exposure.

I often look for vintage replacement parts for my systems and it is getting harder and harder, I often got it from the EU. Some years ago I went and got it from Japan or Israel because I had no hope, but it was expensive and now with more taxes and tariffs it will be worse. I cannot go through individual local sites to check, even if the value is better!

Also, there are "professional dealers" with unreasonable prices, so something fine


I was thinking of unloading a box of SBUS cards, but seeing the above,
sitting down to take photos (not to mention throwing them into an SS10
to verify function) is a waste of time.

Indeed. Testing them with the brittle plastic is just a risk by itself.

I can also think that some of these cards are a bit "niche" in use, who sets up Fibre at home? video cards, memory cards, standard ethernet cards

I think it is hard to "reach" the buyers, but they are there.
