Ooooh - I’ve went down this rabbit hole already.

On sparc: 

ghostscript-agpl gives bus error (crash seems to be related to lcms2 - alignment error ?)

ghostscript-gpl seems to work fine (obviously this is the older version, no updates, and destined to be removed at some point I would guess…)

I actually opened a ghostscript bug with Artifex but we didn’t get very far:

So my solution is to either use -gpl or if I use -agpl you add "-dUseFastColor=true” to gs args.  My understanding is that this is bypassing lcms2 (using the old color engine).  Colors might be a bit off but it no longer crashes.
