Trying to compile some pkgsrc packages on qemu-emulated SparcStation 20

qemu-system-sparc -hda sparc-netbsd-15g-compressed.qcow2 -m 1536 -g
1024x768x24 -M SS-20 -smp 3 -accel tcg,thread=multi,tb-size=256
(tb-size due to qemu process running on 32-bit userspace x86 host)
Now, I wonder how people supposed to build gnutls if one gcc process
sometimes eat 500 M ?
Also, for some reason on stock NetBSD 10.1 cmake fails to build for
me, i saw email from Michael saying moving to gcc14 in new netBSD base
fixed cmake build - a bit heavy if only possible workaround ...
