Re: TGX Plus on sun4c (IPX) problem



IIRC the IPX has an onboard "plain old" GX; could it be that the onboard GX interferes with an SBus 4M TGX+ in a way that doesn't effect SBus 1M TGX cards? Or perhaps the OpenBOOT ROM console-output code is getting confused between the two?

Have you tried this particular TGX+ card in an SS2 with NetBSD 10?

Sorry I should have been clearer.  I have a spare GX and a spare TGX (non-plus) - both 1mb.  Using these in the IPX seems to work fine.  It’s just the 4MB TGX+ that chokes.
