IIRC the IPX has an onboard "plain old" GX; could it be that the onboard GX interferes with an SBus 4M TGX+ in a way that doesn't effect SBus 1M TGX cards? Or perhaps the OpenBOOT ROM console-output code is getting confused between the two? Have you tried this particular TGX+ card in an SS2 with NetBSD 10? -- Mike Sent from my Galaxy -------- Original message -------- From: vom513 <vom513%gmail.com@localhost> Date: 11/09/2025 20:07 (GMT+00:00) To: port-sparc%netbsd.org@localhost Subject: Re: TGX Plus on sun4c (IPX) problem > On Sep 11, 2025, at 3:03 PM, Mouse <mouse%Rodents-Montreal.ORG@localhost> wrote: > >> I realized I have a plain GX and a TGX. Using these in the IPX seems to work fine. It’s just the 4MB TGX+ that chokes. |
