Stop instead of ctrl-alt is the traditional way.
I should probably do what I did with ADB keyboards ( there we switch
with Command-F* ) - introduce a keymap variant that uses ctrl-alt, just
so all kayboards behave the same ( and you can have stop-F* switching
on USB keyboards... )
