I'd say "and", not "or", since the problem may be related to the SPARC
client somehow.
If those don't help, maybe try an even older net booter. I've had no
trouble netbooting 1.4T or 5.2; I can give you copies of the relevant
netboot files if you like. They might or might not actually _work_,
but they might help you figure out where things are going wrong.
