I've worked through
http://www.netbsd.org/docs/guide/en/chap-boot.html .

Now
sparc2# cd /usr
sparc2# find . -type f -name '*ftp*' -print
./bin/ftp
./bin/sftp
./bin/tftp
./lib/security/pam_ftpusers.so.3
./libexec/ftpd
./libexec/sftp-server
./libexec/tftp-proxy
./libexec/tftpd
./sbin/ftp-proxy

You refer to /usr/libexec/ftpd?

sparc2$ man 8 ftpd
man: no entry for ftpd in the manual.

I wonder whether the base installation here is complete?

Thanks, ... Peter E.
